FAQs

  • Can I mount these on cross bar style roof racks?
    • We prefer to recommend the Kaon Cross Bar Recovery Board for these situations, but it is possible to use the Flush Flat Mounts, provided you can space your cross-bars between 692-772mm or 1008-1088mm apart.
  • Which mounting pins are best for my setup?
    • There are different pin options depending on which recovery boards you have. Here's what we recommend:
      • Maxtrax MK II Boards, Maxtrax Mini and Jaxbase: Maxtrax 17mm pins 
      • Maxtrax Xtreme Boards: Maxtrax X-Series Pins 
      • TRED Recovery Boards 
      • TRED PRO, GT or HD: TRED Threaded 115mm Pins
