Adjustable, lightweight and strong our universal mounting brackets are made to suit most leading 270 Degree Awnings on the market, whilst ensuring that weight is evenly distributed across your roof rack.

• 3 brackets are designed to distribute the weight of heavier 270º awnings evenly. 
• Suitable for awnings up to 40kgs. 
• Includes a sturdy tie-down point on the back for securing other items such as tents, marquees or chairs to your rack. 
• Multiple mounting points distributes the load evenly across the rack or bar evenly.
• Adjustable slotted design and multiple mounting holes provide vertical awning adjustment (5 settings up and down) to suit your setup or height restrictions.
• Brackets are made from 3mm Stainless Steel and powder coated in a durable textured matt black finish that will blend in with your racks and wont rust.
• Engineered folds for added strength whilst reducing overall bracket weight just 3.7kg for a set. Lighter than provided 10mm steel brackets included with some popular awning brands.

Awning Compatibility

• Designed to suit rear-folding and forward-folding 270 designs, including but not limited to Darche, Oztent, NOMAD, Foxwing, Supapeg, 23Zero, Bush Company, XTM, Kings, Rhino-Rack Batwing, Bushwakka, and Dune.
• Awning mounting plate is 175mm high with slots to accommodate awning bolt spacing between 25mm to 150mm.

Rack Compatibility

• Suit many popular Cross Bars (Sports and Heavy Duty): such as Rhino-Rack (excl. Euro), Thule, Pro Rack, Yakima, Rola and other Global T & C Channel bars. 
• Suits Yakima LockNLoad and Kings Platfom Racks.

• I have a regular Side Awning or 180 Degree Awning, can I use these brackets?
  • Yes, though depending on the awning you may find the bracket is visible above/below the awning. 

• What 270 Degree Awnings is this compatible with?
  • Including but not limited to Darche, Oztent, NOMAD, Foxwing, Supapeg, 23Zero, Bush Company, XTM, Kings, Rhino-Rack Batwing, Bushwakka, and Dune.

• Are these brackets compatible with other roof racks?

• My awning is really heavy and we plan to tackle some rough roads, will this bracket be up to the task?
  • Kaon have travelled long sections of corrugations and understand your concerns. They have designed the brackets for a theoretical static vertical load of 200kg per bracket, and each of the 3 brackets are clamped in 3 places to evenly transfer the load to the roof rack. While we cannot make any claims to the performance of the brackets in your setup, we have strived to get a good balance of strength, weight and functionality
